She was recently commissioned to create a map of California for wrapping paper which you can purchase here. She illustrated a matching floral pattern for the back that included California's famous poppy flowers.

Michelle created a map for Flutter Magazine which takes you through some of the most romantic cities in America, from Charlottesville, Virginia to Savannah, Georgia, stopping in five of the South's most charming cities. The illustrated map shows details of all the wonder a honeymoon could hold - oak trees dripping in moss, abundance of flora, coastal cities, island hopping, and elegant estates. Each stop is represented by a hand watercolored icon or landmark.

Her work has been featured in a variety of publications including the 2019 Santa Ynez Valley Destination Guide and the 2018 Nature Track Film Festival Guide. She also creates illustrations for comprehensive guides to regions such as the map she created for the definitive guide to California's Santa Ynez Valley.

Details are meticulously watercolored in Michelle's old world illustrative style which brings an intimate and imaginative touch to editorial content such as her feature in the Santa Ynez Valley Star. Her maps are often flanked with the florals and landscape features found in an area. Beautifully visual ways to define a location, its roads, and its history.
